Warhammer Community: The Old World WFB (Warhammer Community)

Warhammer: The Old World (World-That-Was), is expanding. There are alot of news and new factions coming all the time to the game. But this one got my eye: The Grand Cathay.

The Grand Cathay has always been mysterious realm in the Warhammer World, that has not been explored very much officially. There have been some little details there and there over the years (novels, WFB, WFRP, maps...) and off course various fan-projects. But then came the Total War: Warhammer III, which finally opened possibility to play Grand Cathay and gave us huge amount of new official information about the realm and its people (and Dragons). Now comes Warhammer: The Old World and Grand Cathay army.

This is interesting project mentioned now few times on the Warhammer Community. It seems they are bringing the Old World back for WFB - linked article mentions lore, art, rules and new models are coming. Article also had interesting and pretty nice map of the Old World (and Norsca). Check it out:

Always nice that fan-community produces interesting sourcebooks. And sometimes I get to host them too. Our own Xathrodox86, with help of Hectorius, have produces three interesting documents. These are not based on any version or rules, just background information, with nice details.

Just noticed, that one of the legendary wiki sites, Hammerwiki (Warhammer Online) will merge with another great wiki Warhammer Wiki. Here's their announcement:

Well, one of the mightiest "beings" in the Warhammer World is coming back - Nagash! And with little help from the friends, this meaning no less than Mannfred von Carstein and Arkhan the Black.

There is going to be a book about the event (the Black Library): The End Times - The Return of Nagash by Josh Reynolds

And then there will be a full campaign (see preview of the Limited Edition package)  (Games Workshop), which will probably have huge impact in the Warhammer World.
