Black Library is still publishing stories from The World That Was. There was a vote, and Readers' Choise was Drachenfels by Jack Yeovil. The novel was originally published in the 1980s. It is still one of the most legendary and loved stories based in the good old Warhammer world. Black Library is publishing Readers' Choise as paperback.

Story features infamous playwright Detlef Sierck, who decides to stage his greatest work - the recreation of the Great Enchanter Drachenfels's death in the dark fortress where it happened. This will gather the survivors of this event there too, which include Vampire Genevieve and Elector Oswald von Konigswald. But, nothing is that easy, and dark things start to happen...
